Appearance[]

Lavinho is a tall, tan skinned man with a mullet stylized with checkered patterned side cuts. He has multiple tattoos going down his arms and can often be seen wearing glasses but he takes them off when he plays football. His normal outfit is him with no shirt on, a necklace, his glasses, and shorts. When playing games he dons FC Barcha's #87, red and yellow striped kit along with black gloves.

Personality[]

Lavinho is a very eccentric, expressive and free-thinking kind of person. His personality directly translates into his football very similar to Meguru Bachira. He is very confident in his own abilities self proclaiming himself the best in the world. Coming to Blue Lock, Lavinho was happy to be the Spain Master but he did not care to teach the players of the stratum directly. He rather explain his point of view and let them interpret his words into their own inspiration.

Abilities[]

Archtype[]

  • Dribbler: Dribblers are players known for their close ball control ability that is used to go past defenders by sudden change of direction and acceleration sometimes combined with great pace. The skill is used to create opportunities for other attackers or to score themselves having broken through the opposition's defence using what is sometimes referred to as "trickery". One of the great spectator sights in football is a player going on a "mazy run" with the ball, twisting and turning to avoid opposition tackles, beating a number of players.

Skills[]

  • Perfect Dribble: Lavinho has immense mastery with the ball, managing to dribble it from any position with creative and fluid dribbles. His dribbling skill is so high that when opponents try to block him they end up falling to the ground for not following his "dance" with the ball, managing to easily advance to the goal without losing the ball.
    • Ginga Style: Lavinho employs the Ginga concept of capoeira in his soccer style, which makes him create a mental image of himself as a butterfly flying across the field and with that mental image he manages to develop flexible and unpredictable dribbles that only the best striker in the world can follow.
      • Rising Dance: In a two-on-one situation, Lavinho first does a rainbow flick to get past one opponent and then using that same opponent as a wall to stop the other from pursuing him.
  • Flow State: Lavinho entered in flow state during the star change system of the match between Bastard and Barcha, using Yoichi Isagi to get away from Noel Noa and then overcome the entire opposing defense and score a goal.
