Kota Sannomiya (三宮宏太 Sannomiya Kōta?) is Japanese manga artist (primarily illustrator). He is currently employed by Kodansha ltd, and he is best known for his work in Blue Lock - Episode Nagi.
Manga Career[]
Kota Sannomiya was an assistant to Hajime Isayama, known for his work on Attack on Titan. The series is one of the best-selling manga of all time and as of 2019 has accumulated over 100 million copies in circulation. Apparently, Sannomiya's first work as a manga illustrator was on the work 'Seishun Soukanzu', written by Shun Hirose, published from September 2017 to March 2018 in Weekly Shōnen Magazine. In 2021, he began working alongside Masafumi Nishida and Tadayoshi Kubo on 'Tesla Note', initially published in Shōnen Magazine of Kodansha from January to July, until it was transferred to Magazine Pocket, where it continued serializing until April 2022. Later that same year, he began working alongside Muneyuki Kaneshiro as an illustrator for the spin-off manga, Blue Lock - Episode Nagi, published in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from June 2022 to July 2025. In addition to working as the illustrator of the Blue Lock light novels.
