Overview
Relationships

Keisuke Wanima ( (わに) () (けい) (すけ) Wanima Keisuke?) is a former contender of the Blue Lock Project.

He is the younger twin brother of Junichi Wanima and when first arriving at Blue Lock, he was a member of Team W. Keisuke was eliminated in the First Selection, along with all of the members of Team W, with the exception of his brother Junichi.

Appearance[]

Keisuke is a fairly tall young man, being about the same height as his brother, with large, dark eyes and short, spiky hair with sides shaved into a draconic shape. He is commonly seen with a wide, toothy grin on his face.

Personality[]

Along with his twin brother, Keisuke thinks of himself as superior to others and only acknowledges his fellow twin. Between the twins, Keisuke is the only one to talk during First Selection, asking his brother questions and following his lead. Along with his brother, he isn't afraid to play dirty, as he accepts Kuon's plan and often mocks Chigiri both during the Blue Lock Program and on his high school team.

Abilities[]

Archetype[]

  • Forwards: also known as strikers, have the main objective of scoring goals. They are often the players who get the most attention since their role is designed to be in a scoring position. They also take part in penalty kicks and corner kicks when the opposing team kicks the ball out-of-bounds. They are normally the players in charge of starting off the game at the start and halftime.

Skills[]

  • Eye Contact: This is a rather more unique weapon than the others, as it only works when Keisuke is paired with his brother Junichi. This ability works when the two Wanima brothers are playing together and use the closeness and timing of each of their movements to produce powerful combination plays. Since Junichi doesn't usually speak, Keisuke understands everything the older brother wants just by their eye contact. One key weakness of this weapon is that it's not an individual weapon, so as soon as the Blue Lock Project eliminated Keisuke, Junichi struggled to keep up with the best players of the program, even though the Wanima brothers could even score the first goal effortlessly against the invincible Team V and beat Team X.
