I'm Sorry (ごめん Gomen?) is the 6th episode of Blue Lock anime series.
Synopsis[]
After the match with Team Y, Isagi's rank moved up, and he became the center of the team. The next match is against Team W, led by the Wanima twins. Their eye contact and impeccable combinations are hard to beat. They used to play in the same team as Hyoma Chigiri, and they use his past trauma to egg him on. Chigiri says that he joined Blue Lock to find a reason to quit soccer. Team Z leads the game with Kuon's play. Everyone's elated for the good start of the match, but Isagi feels something is off.
Summary[]
Team Z is facing next Team W, who has one loss. They managed to beat Baro's team, and since they are W, they are likely better than Team Z. Iemon shows them that Team W's top players are Keisuke Wanima and his big brother Junichi Wanima, who are 232nd and 233rd in the ranking. Their forte is their combination play and when they beat Baro's team, the two of them scored four goals. To defeat them, Iemon states they need to split the brothers. Raichi is wondering why Iemon is explaining them things as its usually Kuon, and Iemon states its because Kuon still haven't gotten out of the bathroom. Kuon then comes, a bit red and explains he was thinking about their next match and lost track of time while in the bathroom. Kuon then explains that their strategy with switching each ten minutes ended up wasting some time when some weapons weren't viable. He proposes this time they come out with a front three compatible weapons, and they rotate 3 times at 30 minutes intervals. He names his operation: Southern All Stars, but the rest don't like the name and mock him for spending so much time in the bathroom thinking about it.
Junichi states Chigiri is done as player
Match 7 between Team W and Team Z, starts. Team W starts with the ball and the Wanima brothers start easily passing players with their combinations. Isagi and Chigiri are central defenders. Seeing Chigiri, the brothers recognize him as the genius glass player and are surprised that he is still playing. As his former teammates, they state his time as a player is over. As they pass him, they question him if its a good idea to run as he may break his leg. However Isagi tackles Junichi and takes the ball. They want a foul, but since there is no whistle it means it was clear. Isagi tells Chigiri to not listen to them and that the past doesn't matter. To him, he is Chigiri from Team Z, but Chigiri doesn't want to listen to him. Isagi tells him that he isn't saying this for him and unlike Chigiri, he doesn't have past achievements, however he came here since he didn't want to give up on football and wants to change himself. Team Z counter attacks and they pass to Kuon, who scores with his head. Isagi tells Chigiri that no one cares about the past and that he wants to see his present.
The Wanima brothers start from the center again, but Junichi is distracted, which lets Kunigami stealing the ball from him. Bachira then gives a high pass to Kuon, knowing he can jump and reach it. Kuon manages to calm the ball in the air and then takes a shot from outside the penalty area, scoring a second goal.
Kuon scores his hat-trick
At the 30th minute, Naruhaya, Raichi and Gagamaru take the front lines. As they attack, Junichi gets angry and fouls Naruhaya. Bachira then takes the free shot. He sees that they are not guarding well Kuon and gives him a high pass. Kuon then with another header scores this hat-trick. The first half then ends with 3-0 lead for Team Z. As Kuon is on fire today, Raichi states he will also score a hat-trick and make it 6-0. The team is excited and start to like Kuon's Operation name.
Kuon's cunning smile
The second half starts. Junichi returns to pressure Raichi and Kuon asks Raichi to pass back. Raichi does, but then requests a pass back. Kuon tells him he will pass him, but in that moment, Keisuke comes and steals the ball from Kuon, angering Raichi. Isagi notices that the brothers are playing in the midfield now. He tries tackling them, even if he fouls them, but misses. They also easily pass Chigiri and then passing to each other, Junichi scores. Team Z starts from the center. Kuon passes back to Isagi, who didn't expect the ball. As its an under-hit, Isagi starts running towards the ball, but Junichi reaches is first. He then passes to his brother and Keisuke then takes the shot and scores. Raichi is angry and Kuon, who drops on his knees and apologizes for his mistakes. The team calms down Raichi, but as they are now leading with only one goal, they wonder if they should attack or defend. Isagi knows they must stop the next shot or things will turn badly. He then sees a cunning smile on Kuon's face, but wonders if he imagined it.
At the 60th minute, Isagi, Bachira and Kunigami take the front line. The three practiced a combination, where Isagi is the pivot and Bachira and Kunigami form a triangle that slice through the enemy line. If there is a chance, Kunigami will take a mid-range shot, but as the path is blocked, he decides to combine with Bachira, so he can use his dribbling and break up their formation. However as Bachira is tightly blocked, he passes back to Isagi. As Isagi gets the ball, he sees that Kunigami is also being blocked and feels strange that the enemy suddenly adjusted to them and is covering their weapons so good. Junichi then steals the ball from Isagi, who feels they must somehow knew their plan. He recalls Kuon's face, thinking he betrayed them, but dismisses it as it will mean they will loose and it won't benefit them. However, he then realizes that Kuon scored a hat-trick. Keisuke then gives a high pass in the penalty area. Kuon jumps, but misses the ball and Junichi then takes a shot and scores, equalizing the score.
Wanima brothers reveal their deal with Kuon
Isagi realizes that Kuon missed on purpose and goes to him asking him if he is betraying them. The Wanima brothers then come behind Isagi and confirm it. They state since they figured it out, then they can reveal it. They got all of their strategies, weapons and weaknesses. Kuon had sneaked out during the meeting last night and went to Team W to propose the plan. Isagi realizes it was during the time Kuon was supposed to be in the bathroom. As Kuon doesn't say anything, they realize its true and Kuon explains he is doing his best to survive in Blue Lock. Raichi is angry and prepares to punch Kuon, but the whistle stops him, giving him an yellow card and telling the players to resume the game.
The rest still can't understand why as it will mean they will be out of the game. Kuon tells them they are stupid and that only they will leave as he will survive. Kuon then takes the center and passes to Keisuke. He then announces that from this point on, he is playing for Team W and its 12 on 10 now. Teieri is angry and asks Ego if he will allow it, but he tells her to shut up and watch. Isagi asks Kuon why and he explains that Isagi's last minute goal won them the game last time. It made him think that they will have a hard time surviving as their final opponent is Team V, the only team with two wins in the group. They beat Team Y with 8-0, while Team Z struggled against them, so there is no way Team Z can beat Team V. Kuon then gave up on winning as a team, and focused on moving up alone. He reminds Isagi that the top scorer of the dropping teams will proceed to the next selection. Kuon then made a deal with Team W, he will give them info on Team Z and the win, if they let him score three goals. That way, he becomes the top scorer of Team Z and can advance. Kuon thanks Isagi for being naive as they don't need bonds or teamwork, but ego to win. Team W then scores another goal and takes the lead.

Team Z splits in two, Team Bread and Team Rice, arguing which is better in the morning. Led by Raichi, Team Bread argues that you get more variations with bread and rice is for lunch and dinner. Led by Bachira, Team Rice argues that rice is better for breakfast and if you eat bread you are hungry again soon after. Kuon is the only one who isn't in any team and just enters the room. The two teams then ask him which is better. Kuon states he likes cornflakes with milk. The two teams then jump on him calling him a traitor and wanting he to convert to their teams.
