— Chris teaching his students[1]

Chris Prince (クリス・プリンス Kurisu Purinsu?) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Manshine City. He arrives at Blue Lock during the Neo Egoist League as the master striker/coach of the England stratum.

Appearance[]

Chris is a tall and muscular man with blonde medium-length, slightly wavy hairstyle with his blonde locks swept casually to the side (exposing his forehead) which makes it tousled and unkempt, and his hair is complimented with his light eyes which are supposedly blue, but no information has been given on that.

Personality[]

Chris is a confident and expressive man who is obsessed with himself. He has little personal boundaries and is a straightforward person who can be quite egotistical when speaking. Chris is often seen taking his shirt off, either to make some point or to just flex his muscles for others to see. Chris admits he used to take his physical talent for granted when he was younger but grew into a person that recognize the abilities of himself and others.

Chris' individuality stems from his philosophy to satisfy his ideal self. He is always seeking growth to improve himself in a manner that would please the ideal Chris Prince. Despite being ridiculed as a narcissist, Chris behaves to not betray that ideology. Chris' egocentrism allows his players to grow and enjoys helping them attain a body that can achieve their dreams. Chris holds no favoritism and wants to see the future of players with ideals and how they materialize them into reality. He is considerate to let Yukimiya join a sponsorship event, believing he deserves it after his goal.

Being a genius, Chris is fired up by his emotions to surpass Noel Noa, going far as to developing a technique to mock his logical playstyle. He holds a petty grudge against Isagi that would go as far for the World Cup.

Abilities[]

Archetype[]

  • Target Man: Target men are strikers or central forwards that generally have a high degree of physical strength and are usually tall in height. They are able to make space, score goals, or hold up play with the ball waiting for support no matter how much pressure defenders are putting on them. They specialize in taking and controlling the ball in the air or along the ground often from long passes, strength to hold off defenders when receiving long passes and sometimes volleying the ball.
    • Long Pass: Chris makes a long-curved pass for the player in the box to score.

Skills[]

  • Perfect Physicality: With the personalized training he developed himself in order to strengthen his strongest attributes, Chris acquired a body of high caliber reaching the maximum stats in everything in the parameters of Blue Lock. His physical prowess is great enough that he can keep up with Kaiser and pressure him on the ball. No other player could touch Chris with the exception of Noel Noa, who needed to secure him.
    • Immeasurable Speed: Chris has powerful leg muscles and expert footwork, which enables him to run down the field at incredible speeds. Chris was able to run to his goal from the other side of the field and block Kenyu Yukimiya's shot.
    • Bodily Turn: When pressed by an opponent from behind, Chris uses his physicality and ball control to turn around and sprint away from the opposition at full pace.
  • Illogical Knuckle Ball: Chris lobs a knuckle ball into the air, having absolutely zero spin. This causes the ball to wiggle randomly and wobble in the air, with not even Prince knowing where the shot will actually land. This shot was created to essentially mock Noel Noa. This shot can be blocked by two players who position in the possible 2 shot area.
