"Trick of Fate" (
Overview[]
The 3-on-3 match continues with Isagi, Nagi, and Baro on Team White playing against Team Red, formed by Kunigami, Chigiri, and Reo. The score is tied 4 - 4.
Summary[]
After seeing Isagi score the equalizing goal, Baro realizes the despair he feels must be a feeling of defeat. He is confused by how he submitted to Isagi by passing. He recognizes that the way he had treated other soccer players previously has now come back to bite him.
During a time out, Chigiri, Kunigami, and Reo discuss their strategy recognizing that the next goal will determine the winner. Chigiri calls Isagi's last play as badass and Reo states his determination that they will not allow Isagi to get the ball. The decide that their last play will use Chigiri's speed.
As Isagi and Nagi strategize and identify Chigiri as their biggest threat, Nagi asks if they should incorporate Baro in the strategy, but Isagi doubts that anything they say to the fallen king will matter.
With Reo in possession of the ball at the kick off, Reo recognizes that Isagi is blocking his ability to pass to Chigiri and passes to Kunigami instead. Kunigami considers passing to Chigiri but worries about the risk of the ball being stolen, so he passes back to Reo fearing that he wouldn't be able to shake Baro.
Reo becomes frustrated about their ability to score with just him and Kunigami passing back and forth, prompting him to take on Isagi himself in order to reach Chigiri. Finally creating an opening to pass, Reo is surprised by Nagi moving to intercept the ball. Nagi touches the ball but is unable to control it, causing the ball to land in Baro's territory. Isagi tells Baro "Let's go, Loser."

- Reo passes the ball to Kunigami who then passes it back. Reo then passes the ball to Chigiri.
- Nagi intercepts the pass and the ball is kicked in front of Baro.
