The Beauty of the Parabola (その放物線 (ほうぶつせん) の美 (うつく) しさに, Sono Hōbutsusen no Utsukushi sa ni^?) is the 48th chapter of Blue Lock manga series.

Overview

The 3-on-3 match between Team Red (featuring Rin, Aryu, and Tokimitsu) and Team White (featuring Nagi, Isagi, and Bachira) continues. Team Red is currently ahead with a score of 3 - 2.

Summary

After blocking Rin's attempt at goal, Isagi feels confident that he is now in control of the battlefield. At Rin prepares to take Team Red's corner kick, Nagi marks Aryu, Bachira marks Tokimitsu, and Isagi places himself between Nagi and Bachira so he can counter whoever Rin passes to. Rin kicks the ball high with a curve, which Isagi reads as a pass to Aryu, but instead Rin's ball reaches the goal with a vertical spinning direct shot, making the score 4 - 2.

Everyone is shocked by the goal, especially Isagi, who starts contemplating his life choices and how if he was somewhere else, he would have been able to block the goal. Bachira points out that if they score one more goal, the other team wins. Nagi replies that if they score three goals, they'll win instead. Isagi nods and says it's time to lock in.

Isagi, Bachira, and Nagi start their move towards the goal using their triangle passing formation with Isagi feeling determined to score the next goal. As they keep moving, Rin approaches Isagi from behind and says he's done playing around. Dribbling past Nagi and Bachira, Rin moves to shoot, ending the game with his final goal. With Team Red's win, they will decide which player to bring into their team as they advance to the fourth stage.
