"Crossroads" (CROSS (クロス) ROAD (ロード) , Kurosu Rōdo^?) is the second chapter of the 22nd volume and the 187th chapter overall of the Blue Lock manga series, written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura.

Overview

The match between Bastard München and Manshine City continues. Bastard München is in the lead with a score of 2 - 1.

Summary

Upon Nagi asking Reo to help him beat Isagi, Reo becomes upset with Nagi, telling him that he has no imagination regarding the feelings of other people, namely him. Reo tells Nagi that because he kept getting passed over, Reo decided to fight on his own, and Nagi's statements shake up Reo's determination. Nagi tells Reo that is not what he is asking for; rather, he sees that Reo is stronger now and feels that they can now beat Isagi, since they weren't strong enough previously.

Reo decides to support Nagi's dream

Reo calls Nagi a selfish jerk and the biggest pain of all, even as Nagi tries to get Reo to imagine a new kind of soccer they could create together. Nagi tells Reo that they are thinking the same thing, so he doesn't understand why Reo is not excited. Reo asks Nagi if that is his ego, and Nagi replies that it is his dream. As Reo reflects on their early experience playing soccer, Reo places his arm around Nagi's shoulder, saying "let's play soccer" as he thinks about riding Nagi's dream to the top of the world.

On the other side of the field, Isagi continues to think about devouring Kaiser. Kunigami thanks Isagi for the pass; that Isagi's bungled shot made for a delicious meal. Isagi tells him to shut it, claiming that Kunigami has no understanding of the details of his plays, "all you did was eat the scraps of the chance I created." Kunigami responds "If you're gonna run your mouth, do it after you score," and implies that Noa favors Isagi.

The game resumes with Manshine City in control of the ball.
