Overview[]

Blue Lock Eleven wins against the Japan U-20 team in a bowling match, but Isagi has to leave early to meet Tada, a high school friend. On the way to meet him, Isagi encounters a young boy who aspires to be him someday. When he meets Tada, they talk about the match against the Japan U-20 and Isagi's lucky ending goal.

Summary[]

Chigiri bowls a spare, making the battle between the Japan U-20 and Blue Lock players neck-and-neck. Darai recites a prayer before bowling a strike, and Team Blue Lock worries about their potential loss. Everyone then cheers for Nagi, who is exhausted from being hungry and sweaty, as their final throw. Suddenly, he trips on his feet and lets go of the ball on accident, but miraculously bowls a strike and saves his team from losing.

Their cheers attract the attention of a group of girls, who recognize them as the football players from the recent match between the Japan U-20 and Blue Lock Eleven. While the rest continue their celebration, Otoya and Sendo entertain the women while Aiku calls for another round. However, Isagi excuses himself early to meet a friend.

At the train station, Isagi meets a family of three, whose son became his fan after the game against Japan U-20. The boy praises his performance and asks if he can shake his hand. Isagi heeds his request. Before Isagi leaves for the train, the boy tells him that he will do his best to become like him one day. As the train left, Isagi thought to himself that his goal had changed the world.

He later meets Tada, a former teammate from Ichinan High School. He calls Isagi an overnight hero of Japanese football and continues to praise his success. Suddenly, he talks about his final goal in the latest match and praises him for scoring it out of pure luck. Tada continues that, if only he were a contender for the Blue Lock Project, he would have already been a hero due to luck. Isagi is dismayed by this and reflects that it is he who has changed because of Blue Lock and not the world.

At the Blue Lock Headquarters, Ego speaks with international investors about the project's Phase 2, a massive-scale entertainment project supposedly involving the whole world. With this, he believes that he will create the world's best striker.
