"Monster Trance" (
Overview[]
Bachira comes from the defensive line seeking to assist the offensive lineup in their counter replacing Rin who is busy countering Sae. As Bachira and Isagi flow down the field with one touch passing, Baro moves in to steal the ball. Isagi get halted and Bachira moves on without him determined to finish the counter alone.
Bachira runs towards the Japan U-20 defense and performs a series of unreadable dribbling moves that fools every last one of them and as he gets past the goalkeeper and shoots the ball, Sendo appears and blocks the goal at the very last second.
Summary[]
Meguru Bachira comes from behind Yoichi Isagi stating that he must be the final piece and Isagi tells him he has perfect timing but Bachira reminds him to not get too excited because he is there for his own goals. Isagi confirms that they are on the same page and they move together down the field as Seishiro Nagi passes the ball and Isagi traps it while moving gauging the field and noticing that Bachira has replaced Rin in the attack lineup with Isagi as the center; a new chain of trances can be born. Isagi is met by Haru Hayate at the midfield who prepares to block Isagi but Isagi and Bachira move smoothly pass with one touch passing. Hayate is surprised by the multitude of attack patterns the Blue Lock Eleven have in their pocket and as Isagi continues down the field thinking, Shoei Baro comes from behind him attempting to steal the ball from Isagi. Baro says that Isagi left himself wide open and thought wrong when he assumed Baro wouldn't move to devour him before entering the goal zone. Isagi is brought to a stop as he tries to deal with Baro, Nagi tells the duo to stop messing around after all that Reo did to get their counterattack going. Bachira comes and gains possession since Isagi and Baro are preoccupied with each other and reminds them that they are countering.
With ball in possession, Bachira runs down the middle of field charging towards the Japan U-20 defense beginning to concentrate, ready to yield to his football instincts. In his head, all Bachira thinks about is instinct, improvisation, and moving to the strings of his heartbeat. Teppei Neru thinks he can counter Bachira with a speed but Bachira just moves and dribbles the ball so quickly under his feet. He moves like a wild beast following his own impulses and Neru can't tell what he's going to do at all. Just when Neru thinks Bachira is going to perform a nutmeg, Bachira rushes past Neru performing a rainbow heel flick. In Bachira's head, he is thinking of all his different moves as sounds and runs past still focused on his dribbling. Just then, Kazuma Nio appears ready to press Bachira with Neru and as they engage Bachira sees them and he performs a feint then directly moves into a roulette past them, slipping right through their double press. Niou is surprised by Bachira's instinctive dribbling and the sportscaster is amazed by Bachira's skills. Oliver Aiku moves to block him and notes on Blue Lock's amazingness at the fact they still had someone of Bachira's caliber hiding in their lineup. Bachira growls at Aiku and as Isagi and Nagi asks for a pass Bachira ignores their pleas and moves in to attack. He comes towards Oliver and starts performing scissor feints at an insane speed, so fast that its hard to keep up with. Aiku thinks that there is a 2% chance that Bachira will pass and 98% that he is gonna dribble because that's just how Blue Lock's egoists are. He wants Bachira to try to get past him and as he sees him lift the ball, Aiku thinks he is going to try to perform a shot in such a small space. In actuality, Bachira is luring Aiku into a trap and once he falls for the bait he performs an incredibly powerful smash lift that goes right over Aiku's head and Bachira rushes past him after the ball. Aiku is utterly dumbfounded by Bachira's skill and tells Gen Fukaku to come out of the goal and intercept Bachira but just before he can do anything Bachira jumps for the loose ball. He thinks that this play is his challenge centered focus; this is his Monster Trance. Bachira kicks the ball while in the air over the reach of Fukaku and towards the net but at the last possible second, Shuto Sendo appears at the goal and surprises Bachira.
Sendo asks himself is this what he meant by the Ace rising up and fighting back against the world. Aiku and the sportscaster are flabbergasted by Sendo's appearance and Sendo kicks the ball right out at the goal line, barely defending the goal. Isagi stands there surprised and Bachira is visibly upset.
