Overview[]
The Third Selection Tryouts are underway. The match between Team A and Team C continues, with Team C in the lead, 2 - 1.
Summary[]
Isagi, Nanase, and Hiori are in the monitor room watching the match between Team A and Team C, having just witnessed Reo score a goal for Team C. Isagi comments on Reo's impressive ability to copy other players. Nanase considers him unstoppable, though Hiori says Reo will only ever be able to copy it 99%, which could prevent him from winning against someone more powerful.
On the pitch, Rin scores a fifth goal for Team A, allowing them to win over Team C with a score of 5 - 3. Reo realizes that he is still not enough to be able to complete with the Top 6, even as Nagi complements Reo on his performance. Reo tells Nagi not to bother with him, as he identifies to himself that he wants to continue to improve so that he can become someone Nagi will want to chase after.
At the Japan Football Union, the Japan U-20 team coach, Yasumori Hoichi, reassures Hirotoshi Buratsuta that they will win the match against Blue Lock, especially since Sae Itoshi has joined the team. Buratsuta comments that they sent Sae all of Blue Lock's recording, as Sae had requested, and the two continue to envision future projects.
Sae enters the room with his manager following him in and tells the "old guys" that he thinks that Japan's U-20 team is shit, calling the forwards "nothing by half-boiled frogs". Sae tells him that he will no longer play with Japan's U-20 team unless he can team up with a forward from Blue Lock.
Ego electrocutes Shido before he can further injure Rin
In the Third Selection waiting room, Isagi awakes from a nap to see most of the other Blue Lock players watching the matches. The fifth and final match is underway, and Nanase points out the results from the matches between Team A3 vs Team B3 and Team B2 vs Team C2. Isagi notices that Team A is still undefeated, and Baro and Bachira scored goals in their matches.
On the field, Rin and Shido are racing to score off of pass from Kurona with Rin making the final kick to score even as Shido pulls Rin's face back. After the match ends, Shido and Rin continue to throw punches, insults, and threats at each other as they agree to a phsyical fight. Shido kicks his knee into Rin's face, giving him a bloody nose. As Shido prepares himself for another kick, telling Rin his intention to crack Rin's skull, Ego uses the anti-riot electric shock function in Shido's body suit to zap him and prevent further harm. Ego announces that 6 hours from now, he will announces the starting line up for their match against the Japan U-20 team.
