Bastard München (バスタード・ミュンヘン Basutādo Myunhen?) is a professional football team in the German leagues in the Blue Lock (Manga).
It is known as one of the best teams in Europe and is home to the best striker in the world. Bastard München is a team that's absolute priority is scoring goals and they accomplish this by embodying logic and rationality.
Abilities[]
Boasting a play style of unquestionable logic and absolute rationality, Bastard München is a team that performs the best and most ideal plays with the most efficient amount of effort. The main striker and center of the team during the Neo Egoist League is Michael Kaiser. Kaiser uses his vision of the field combined with his positioning and lightning-fast shot to score efficient goals. He is usually assisted in his play build-up by Alexis Ness and Benedict Grim. Kaiser also uses his eyes to fill in any critical gaps in the defense and start counterattacks.
With Blue Lock mixed into the team, Rensuke Kunigami acts as a secondary clinical finisher taking advantage of any opportunities that Kaiser or Isagi are unable to act. Yoichi Isagi uses the same view of the field and his spatial awareness and reflex to charge through enemy defenses with other teammates like Ranze Kurona, Kenyu Yukimiya, and Yo Hiori to create new opportunities of attack for the team by bringing out the best plays from his teammates all so he can score goals. He also fills in critical gaps in the defense along with Kaiser. Ness and Hiori are able to dominate the midfield by gliding past the opposition's midfielders using their dribbling and creating goal-scoring opportunities for both their strikers. The team is divided in assisting one of two of its strikers while everybody still looks for chances to make their own goals. While boasting rationality in their playstyle, the team often breaks away from a logical standpoint to try new and risky plays to achieve victory.
In their final match against PXG, Michael Kaiser abandoned his old way of relying on Alexis Ness to help build his plays instead opted to include his Blue Lock teammates, such as Jingo Raichi, Rensuke Kunigami and Jin Kiyora, into plays that are now more focused in exploiting the open seams of those who coordinated with Yoichi Isagi. Eventually, the two decided to work together as machines aiming for victory, with their rational chemistry and play-style influencing the rest of the new Bastard München.
